Designer
The Designer will manage and execute large-scale renovations or new construction projects under the leadership of the Principal Designer and Director of Design. This role requires a confident design professional with a strong technical foundation, exceptional communication skills, and a natural eye for the Stevie Interiors aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of the design process, including concept development, design documentation, project coordination, and installation.
- Manage project timelines, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient and successful project execution.
- Prepare and oversee detailed design presentations, AutoCAD and SketchUp drawings, elevations, and design boards.
- Source and specify materials, furnishings, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and finishes in alignment with the client’s vision and the Stevie Interiors aesthetic.
- Create and manage construction documents, specifications, and schedules to support seamless project implementation.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, builders, and vendors, ensuring clear, professional, and consistent communication throughout all project phases.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to design intent.
- Provide ongoing updates to the Principal Designer and design team regarding project status, challenges, and milestones.
- Represent Stevie Interiors in a positive, professional, and brand-aligned manner within the community and industry.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Interior Design.
- 3+ years of professional interior design experience, preferably in high-end residential projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is required.
- Strong knowledge of trade sources, vendors, and luxury product lines.
